Kerkuk-Irak 1956

Between 1979 and 1980 studied art in Rome – Italy. Since 1980 participated in many group exhibitions in Iraq. Member op Iraqi Artists Society. A founder of an Iraqi art group called ‘Horizon’ in 1986. Lives in The Netherlands since 1999.

1982-1986 Two solo exhibitions in Kerkuk &Baghdad respectively.

1985 Member and Founder of the (Horizon) Art Group (Baghdad); wrote

the Founding Manifest (Follow Your Dream)

1992 Dual Exhibition (Siege) with his native Mr. Amer Fatuhi, at

Baghdad Museum of Modern Arts.

1994 A solo exhibition at Phenix Gallery, Amman- Jordan

1994 A solo exhibition Toprak Bank Gallery, Ankara-Turkey

2000 Took part in Mesopotamia Exhibition at ‘dimensions Art Gallery’,

Washington – USA

2002 Oct.A solo exhibition at EZERMAN Galeery, Dokkum – The

Netherlands

2002 Nov.Took part in festival of Iraqi Art & Culture organized by Moseon

Museum, The Hague – The Netherlands

2003 A solo exhibition at Het Web Gallery, Doetinchem – The Netherlands

2004 A dual Exhibition, with his native artist Sattar Kawoosh, at Ezerman

Gallery, Dokkum – the Netherlands.

2006 A group exhibition with four Dutch artists at Vogelvrij Gallery,

Roermond – The Netherlands.

2007 Mar. a dual exhibition with Mr. Taieb Ayat at Die Johanniter
