No human
figures appear in Liesbeth van Ginneken's paintings, yet their
presence can be felt. They are materialized in the pieces of
furniture and objects that fill the spaces. Van Ginneken makes a
strong appeal to our associative powers, and she accomplishes
her mission. Her interdisciplinary artprojects as ‘Pieces of Art’ (1998) and Going Dutch (2001), Rotterdam Cultural Capital of Europe), highlight her conceptual and organisational skills. The combinations of these skills are unusual and in this case the recipe for her success
Geboren 1966 in Roosendaal En Nispen, Niederlande mit Belgischer Staatsbürgerschaft. Lebt und arbeitet seit 1988 in Rotterdam, Niederlande und von 2004 – 2008 mit einem zweiten Atelier in Brüssel, Belgien. Lebt derzeit in Rotterdam Niederlande als freischaffende Künstlerin. AUSBILDUNG1984 - 1986 Design Academy Eindhoven, Niederlande 1986 – 1990 Akademie für Bildende Kunst Den Bosch, Niederlande 1990 Abschluss mit summa cum laude Liesbeth Van Ginneken ist in erster Linie Malerin und Farbe und Leinwand ist das von ihr geschätzte Medium mit dem sie mit der Außenwelt kommuniziert. Ihre interdisziplinären Kunstprojekte wie z. B. Pieces of Art (1998) und Going Dutch (1999 - 2001) im Rahmen von „Rotterdam Cultural Capital of Europe 2001“, beweisen ihre konzeptionellen und organisatorischen Fähigkeiten.
